Well the day set off good, until I decided to clean out my hamsters as I put them into show pens, after I'd cleaned them out I was K*%*&*D. This was not a good sign.
We arrived at Penistone. Sue Kilburn and family, Dianne Totty and Family and Ken & Mandy Skill were waiting in the car park, when the man with the key turned up. It was like a Le Mans Start or start of the Sale in Harrods people with arms and hands full trying to get in.
Tables set up, hamsters benched and the Buffet all laid out the show began. Only thing to do was to sell the remainder of raffle tickets Hayley sold them off except the last 5 (996 to 1000). These were bought for my friend Pete Logsdail. Everyone wanted to win the lovely food hamper Ken and Mandy had donated Thank You, form the club and a special thanks from the Richardson family. They will be eating well this Christmas.
Sue asked if "I wanted some wine " So I started to Whine about not winning the hamper as it would have been better than Sandra's cooking. I whined about other things till I realised Sue asked me if I wanted a drink.
I was Getting a little bored so I went and sat down and took out of my pocket my playing cards. The entertainment had started. The little gathering started to listen to what I was saying and not what I was doing. If my audience had not all been Jnr members I would have hit the jackpot. My clan did some mind reading; Sandra and Hayley read my mind as you can imagine this did not take long.
Well show over, prizes given out Judges thanked raffle prizes have been collected or sent out to the winners.
